Maureen Gibbon is an American novelist and writer. She also writer short fiction, nonfiction and reviews books. Her works have been published in several print and online publications. Gibbon has three novels, ''Paris Red'', ''Swimming Sweet Arrow'' and ''Thief.'' == Achievements == Gibbon's most recent novel, ''Paris Red'', was featured on NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday with Scott Simon. It was also translated into French under the title ''Rouge Paris'' and published in 2014. The American release was in 2015 under the publisher W.W. Norton. Gibbon also wrote the prose collection ''Magdalena''. She's been published in ''The New York Times, Huffington Post, Playboy'' and other publications. Gibbon was a Bush Foundation Artist fellow in 2001, and a Loft McKnight Artists fellow in 1992 and 1999. She became an artist in residence of the Mill Foundation at the Santa Fe Arts Institute in 2006.
